Acceptance of terms

These terms and conditions govern all supply of goods and services ("products") by {VC International Pty Ltd} ("{T/A RedRoo Kits}", "we, "us") to you, the purchaser of goods and services from us, including your use of the website at {www.redrookits.com} ("the website").

We reserve the right to change these terms of trade by notice to you. Notice may be given by posting the revised terms and conditions on our website.

To make a purchase from our online shop you must be 18 years of age or over.

Purchases from our online shop may only be made by persons who are acquiring goods or services for their own use or consumption, and you must not acquire goods from us via the website for resupply (whether in trade or otherwise).

If you are purchasing on behalf of another entity such as a company you warrant you have the authorisation to agree to these terms and conditions on behalf of the entity.

Availability and supply

All orders are subject to the availability of those products or services. If for any reason a Product is not available we will endeavour to notify the non-availability on our online shop.

Delivery and delivery charges

Prices for goods and services stated on our website are exclusive of any applicable delivery charges.

The cost of delivery is as stated on our website and a total delivery cost will be provided in the order summary in your online shopping basket.

We will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that orders for tangible goods will be dispatched promptly after an order has been placed.

Pricing

All prices are in Australian Dollars and are exclusive of any Goods and Services Tax ("GST") unless stated to be otherwise, and are exclusive of delivery charges. All prices are correct when published. We reserve the right to alter prices at any time.

An invoice will be emailed to you at the email address you supply when you place your order. You are responsible for ensuring that your contact details are correct.

Payment options

We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express payments via the Stripe Payment gateway.

Credit Card Security

All payments are processed via the Stripe secure payments system to ensure high levels of payment security and are subject to the Stripe terms and conditions.

Shipping and delivery

Shipping within Australia is by Australia Post. Shipping costs within Australia are determined by Australia Post charges in force at the time of purchase. Shipping costs to other countries are determined by the method of delivery available for the destination country and any delivery option selected by the customer. Shipping rates are calculated when the customer selects the shipping option.

Dispatch of in-stock items will usually be within three working days. Express Post delivery to Australian metropolitan areas will usually be one or two days after shipping. Delivery to regional Australian areas or Western Australia can take up to one week. Tracking information will be forwarded to the customer on shipment.

Returns policy

Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), there are a number of consumer guarantees that entitle a consumer to return a product and obtain a refund or replacement.

We do not have to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase so please choose carefully. If the goods are faulty, we will meet all our obligations under the ACL. Please also refer to the section on Valve Safety below.

If you wish to return or exchange an item you must contact RedRoo Kits to obtain a returns authorisation. This allows us to ascertain what may be wrong and to discuss options with you. If authorization is given, please make sure to include the RedRoo Invoice or the invoice number that was sent with your order.

All goods must be returned in their original condition. A refund will not apply to goods which have been partly assembled or used in any way, damaged after delivery, are returned in poor or dirty condition, or if any attempt has been made to alter the goods.

The customer assumes any and all risk of lost, theft, or damage to goods during transit. All shipping and other costs for returns are to be paid by the customer. In the event RedRoo Kits identifies a fault with the products RedRoo Kits may refund part of all of the shipping costs.

Website Information

We will always endeavour to have complete and accurate information on our website but to the greatest extent permissible by law we assume no responsibility for the completeness and current accuracy of the information provided on our website.

Use the information on this site is at your own risk. RedRoo Kits assumes no responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions in the content of this site. The information contained in this site is provided on an "as is" basis with no guarantees of completeness, accuracy, usefulness or timelines.

Safety

It is an unavoidable fact that valve (aka tube) circuitry contains hazardous voltages and very hot surfaces. Prior to purchase you must read and the Valve Safety document which is downloadable in pdf format from the RedRoo Kit website at www.redrookits.com

By the acceptance of this agreement, and the purchase of the goods and services, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the Valve Safety document and that you accept the risks associated with this type of product or service. You also acknowledge that you are competent to work on circuitry and equipment with hazardous voltages and very high temperature surfaces.

Warranty

Warranty on Kits
All components supplied in RedRoo kits are of high quality and are covered by our standard warranty. However we cannot guarantee the experience or workmanship of constructors, so the warranty is void once construction has commenced.

If you find missing faulty or damaged components please contact us immediately for a replacement.

General Warranty
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The benefits given by this manufacturer's warranty are in addition to those guarantees and any other rights and remedies of consumers under a law in relation to the goods to which the warranty relates.

Under this manufacturer's warranty, VC International PTY LTD (VCI) will at its option elect to repair or replace faulty parts and workmanship for a period of three (3) months from the time of dispatch to the customer from RedRoo Kits.

Equipment must be returned together with a description of the fault to RedRoo kits by mailing the equipment to:

The customer is to pay all freight charges and any other charges associated with return of equipment. The customer assumes any and all risk of lost, theft, or damage to goods during transit. All shipping and other costs for returns are to be paid by the customer. In the event RedRoo Kits identifies a fault with the products RedRoo Kits may refund part or all of the shipping costs.

Physical damage or misuse are not covered under the terms of this warranty.

A charge will be made for any other services and parts required by the customer other than rectifying the original warranty request.

OTHER THAN THE CONSUMER GUARANTEES PROVIDED BY THE AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW (WHICH MAY APPLY DURING AND BEYOND THE PERIOD OF THIS MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY), THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, THAT APPLY TO THIS PRODUCT FOLLOWING THE PERIOD OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY PROVIDED BY VC INTERNATIONAL PTY LTD. VC INTERNATIONAL AND/OR REDROO KITS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OTHER THAN ANY SUCH DAMAGES FOR WHICH VC INTERNATIONAL AND/OR REDROO KITS MAY BE LIABLE UNDER THE AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

Unless we otherwise agree in writing, this agreement contains all the terms of our relationship and continues to apply no matter where you are located at the time any goods or services are provided to you by us and irrespective of the location where you reside.

Each of the parties to this Agreement irrevocably agrees that the courts of New South Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and decide any suit, action or proceedings, and/or to settle any disputes, which may arise out of or in connection with this Agreement or its formation or validity or the supply of services or information or website content, and for these purposes, each party irrevocably submits to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

Where you or any other person who you act for, or who you permit to act for you supplies incorrect information for the purchase of a product or service and we incur cost in any matter concerning that name then we may recover the costs incurred by us from you (including legal costs on a solicitor-client basis).

You agree to use our website, products and services in accordance with the applicable laws of the country or countries where your business or organisation is based.

Privacy Policy and Confidentiality

Unless you opt to receive messages from us we will not contact you again in future. If you have opted to receive ongoing communications and at a later date you no longer wish to receive these communications you will be able to opt out of receiving this information by contacting us by email or by following the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of emails sent to you.

Opting out of receiving the above mentioned messages will not prevent the sending of messages that specifically relate to your order(s).

We may use personal information that we collect about you to provide products and services to you and to administer orders and payments relating to your purchases from us.

You will need to permit us to place data files ("cookies") on your computer to enable you to use some features of some of our websites. Where you choose not to enable cookies from our Website, some functionality of those Website may not be available to you.

We may disclose your personal information as required by law.

Where you have provided information to us on a confidential basis, we will hold that information in confidence, except as required by law. We cannot guarantee that our website is secure, and we cannot be held responsible for a breach of our website security that is beyond our control.

You can request details of your personal information that we hold, and ask us to correct it, at any time.

General Conditions

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time by notice, which may be in the form of a notice posted on our website at {www.redrookits.com}.

If we fail to enforce any terms or to exercise our rights under these terms and conditions at any time, we have not waived those rights.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect and the parties shall adjust their respective rights and obligations in accordance with the spirit and intent of the parties as shown by these terms and conditions.

Unless any provision in this agreement expressly provides otherwise, these terms and conditions are not intended to confer a benefit on any person or class of person who is not a party to it.

We may deliver notices to you by sending them to an email address that you have notified to us.
